Avalon High

Disney Channel's production of Julie Sherman Wolfe's screenplay adaptation of the Publication Avalon High by Meg Cabot. Elaine"Ellie" Harrison has only moved from Minnesota into Annapolis, Maryland while her parents take a yearlong sabbatical to continue their medieval studies in local DC. Her fresh school, Avalon High, may seem like a typical high school with the students that are stereotypical: Lance that the jock, Jennifer that the cheerleader,'' the terrible boy/desperado, Marco, and can, the class president, quarterback, and all. Although maybe perhaps not every one at Avalon High is who they look like, maybe perhaps not Ellie herself. Eventually, it becomes apparent that Avalon High is a situation. Will, Jennifer, Lance, Marco, and Mr. Morton all Match King Arthur, Queen Guinevere, Knight Lancelot, Mordred, and Merlin, respectively.
