Fill the Void

Eighteen-year-old Shira will be this Mendelman family's daughter. She is about to be married to a promising child of the age and background. It is a dream become a reality, and Shira feels excited and prepared. On Purim, Esther, her twenty-eight-year-old sister, dies while giving birth to her first child, Mordechay. The pain and despair that overwhelm the household postpone Shira's guaranteed match. Everything changes when a match is proposed to Yochay-Esther's overdue husband-to a widow out of Belgium. Yochay feels although he realizes that in the course of time he must look at getting married it's too premature. When girls' mother discovers that Yochay may wed the widow and go on with her only grandchild, she suggests a game between Shira and the widower. Shira might have to pick from the wish along with her family duty of her heart. She'll find out that the emptiness that she needs to choose exists only within her center.
