Grabbers

Something black has come into the beaches of Erin Island, unbeknownst into the fishing village's people perched someplace off Ireland's coast. To begin with, a few fishermen go missing. Then there is the rash of whale carcasses washing upon the beach. After the murders start, it's upto two cops -- a irresponsible alcoholic along with his partner, a bythebook woman from the mainland -- to protect the townsfolk from the giant, blood-sucking, tentacled aliens which predate upon them. Their weapon, they detect, is booze. If they wish to survive the monsters' throw, everybody is going to have to find very, very drunk!
