Flikken

Flikken has been a popular Flemish-Belgian television series of a. The series ended on 19 April 2009 and started in 1999. A team of six police solved various offenses, petty crimes as well as organised crime. The series always targeted toward revealing the policework at a realistic manner - though there was a small drama never far off. Through the whole series, Ludo Hellinx and just Mark Tijsmans appeared of all the celebrities that came along during the ten seasons. Flikken was produced by the VRT and broadcast on Belgian channel Eén and TROS in Holland. Flikken is very popular in Belgium and Holland. The series has had very high ratings of up to 1.8 million viewers through the previous season. Annually the Flikkendag, a family day by which the people will meet the celebrities of this series is organised by that the VRT. There are presentations of the true police, games and safety organisations and performances of singers.
