JAG

JAG is a American legal drama television show with a distinct military theme, created by Donald P. Bellisario, and made by Belisarius Productions in association with Paramount Network Television. The season was co-produced with NBC Productions. Originally conceived as a High Gun matches the pilot episode of JAG aired on NBC on September 23, A Few Good Men, 1995. However, the show was canceled after finishing 79th from the ratings May 22, 1996, leaving one episode unaired. Rival network CBS found the string to get a midseason replacement, beginning on January 3, 1997. CBS's decision to air JAG proved to be quite a fantastic move, as JAG for several seasons increased in the ratings and was about the air for nine seasons. JAG furthermore spawned the hit show NCIS, which spun off a second hit, NCIS: l a. Over 10 seasons , 227 episodes were produced As a whole and JAG was during its 5th season seen in more than 100 countries worldwide. JAG was so popular that it entered syndication in 1999 and it's still repeated.
