Lassie

Lassie is a American television series that follows the adventures of a Rough Collie dog called Lassie along with her partners, creature and human. The show was televised from September 1 2, 1954, to March 24, 1973 and was that the creation of creature trainer Rudd Weatherwax and producer Robert Maxwell. One of those series on television, the show chalked seventeen seasons on CBS up before inputting first-run syndication. Initially filmed in black and white, the show transitioned to color. The first ten seasons of the show follow the adventures in a small farming community of Lassie. Jeff Miller his mother, and his grandfather will be the very first individual partners of Lassie before seven-year-old Timmy Martin along with his parents simply take control from the fourth season. When Lassie's exploits on the farm ending in the season, she finds new adventures. Lassie finally settles at a children's home on her two seasons that are syndicated after travel leads to get per calendar year. Lassie received critical favor and won two Emmy awards. Stars Jan Clayton and June Lockhart were nominated for Emmys. Merchandise produced during the show's run comprised books, a Halloween costume, clothing, toys, along with other products. Campbell's Soup, the show host, offered two premiums, and distributed tens of thousands to fans. A multi-part episode was edited into the feature film Lassie's Great Adventure and released from August 1963. The television series The New Lassie attracted Lassie star Jon Provost straight back to television as Steve McCullough. Episodes are released to DVD.
