Lead Balloon
Balloon is a television series produced by Open Mike Productions for BBC Four. The show was made and can be co-written by comedian Jack Dee and Pete Sinclair. It celebrities Dee a misanthropic and cynical comedian whose entire life is suffering from petty annoyances, like Rick Spleen, disappointments and embarrassments. Sean Power raquel Cassidy and Tony Gardner celebrity. The first series of six episodes was aired in 2006, with the first episode. Repeats of the show were run using BBC HD and BBC Two, bringing it to a larger audience. A second set of eight episodes aired on BBC Two in November 2007, and a third show began airing in November 2008. A show started broadcast May 2011 and ended on 5 July.
Critics created comparisons into the American humor Curb Your Enthusiasm that was thriving, along with favorable comments were made about the characters, the European housekeeper, specially Magda of Lead Balloon. The first show was released on DVD in November 2007. The show's theme tune is actually a cover version of"One Way Road", written by Noel Gallagher and performed with Paul Weller.
