The State

The State is a half-hour sketch-comedy tv show broadcast in the USA on MTV between December 17, 1993, and July 1, 1995. The show combined bizarre characters and scenarios presenting screenplay that obtained the favor of its target teenaged audience. The cast consisted of 1 1 comedians who directed, acted, composed, created and edited the show. Memorable characters were created for the show, and for a time their catch phrases entered in to the vernacular. Many times, the throw would appear as themselves and address the viewer to deliver public service announcements or to promote competitions. Much their state's sketches were sometimes linked somehow: a punch line or image that stopped a lead in was often provided by one sketch to the next to each other. On July 14, 2009, the show has been released after years of legal issues linked to the soundtrack to several of the episodes. The 2007 2008 screenwriters strike would be at the works, but postponed A State picture featuring most the initial troupe members, no discharge date for the job has been announced.
