Convoy

Convoy can be actually really a American tv show place during World War II that appeared 1966 tv season. The show starred John Gavin as Commander Dan Talbot of this US Navy destroyer escort"DD181" and John Larch as civilian merchant Captain Ben Foster of the freight ship"Flagship", that were included with the convoy ships and their escorts that help transport food, war and supplies substances across the Atlantic throughout the Battle of the Atlantic. The show also featured Linden Chiles as Steve Kirk and James T. Callahan, formerly of ABC's Wendy and Me Sit-com, at the role of Lieutenant O'Connell. Stars were Jeremy Slate, Jack Palance, Barbara Rush, James Doohan, Leslie Nielsen, Horst Ebersberg, Harold Gould, and Dennis Hopper. Convoy was one of the final NBC show in monochrome. The use of stock footage left color impossible. As a result NBC affiliates refused to clear the app, which consequently didn't climb out of their'bottom 10' from the Nielsen ratings. This program was released on September 17, 1965, and also the last episode aired on December 10.
