Kick
Kick is a Australian television series which was broadcast on SBS TV June 2007 on 9. It's located in Brunswick at Melbourne, Australia. The show follows the adventures of crazy twenty something Miki Mavros who's forced to move back in with her Greek-Australian parents on Hope Street following a failed attempt to"make it big". Miki begins work as a secretary for suave Anglo-Indian Dr. Joe Mangeshkar, who has a girlfriend named Jan, and things spiral out of control. Miki oversees a native soccer team, hence the series title .
The series also follows the adventures of Miki's neighbors on Hope Street, for example the Salim family, also a Lebanese-Australian Muslim family having allies Amen, Osama"Ozzie", Taghred and Layla. Amen can be a aspiring entrepreneur with questionable ethics. Osama has a beat on the friend Tatiana of Taghred and is moving through typical teenage angst. Taghred is a soccer celebrity. Layla is just a university-student arranged to be wed to Sharif, when Layla falls for fellow fencer Jackie, but what changes.
