Tsumiki Miniwa, a small girl who packs a punch, is deeply in deep love with her very best friend, easy-going and tall Io Otonashi. The problem is she can't bring herself to come out and declare it. And, despite the fact he is able to otherwise read her just like a novel, Io doesn't seem to be able to pick up the clues that are obvious --with all their friends teasing that there is no one better fitted to one another. Acchi Kocchi follows Tsumiki and her circle of friends as they go through their lives. Between the Hime, Sakaki the prankster along with Mayoi the electronics nerd, Tsumiki's friends will never let her live down her ass. If Tsumiki will acquire the guts to finally say the way she truly feels but only time will tell.
